2017: sparkles // changes // specials

Greetings Friendsies! How on earth is it the third day in January already? That is wonderfully amazing! I’ve made warm holiday memories with friends and family, rung in the New Year with a prosecco toast, had my last giant FUN wedding of 2016 AND made a move to San Pedro! What a crazy 6 weeks the holidays have been for me. Which is why I’m about two weeks behind on my emails! OOPS!

To say that this past year was truly wonderful is quite the understatement… The clients we have met, and the relationships we have created, the moments of joy we’ve shared, and the wonderful industry friends we’ve made… Thank you so much for letting us do our job. We Looovvveee our job.

We’ve discovered new goodies and glitter, new blushes and lipsticks, and we cannot wait to get this 2017 party started! We are eager to fill our books with jubilant clients, we are eager to celebrate the love in the air {and hair}, and are really eager to personalize special hair and makeup looks for each of our unique clients.

That being said, we’re excited to say things are going to be a little different this year! My 2016 Beauty Dream Team has had an entire year of 50+ weddings with me, {and other sparkly MUAH work!}, 7+ of those weddings published by popular national wedding blogs, and they are officially ready to launch their own businesses and get their names out there! I of course will still be working in SLO County, and have a couple of weekends still open for myself with my Beauty Dream Team, but the Beauty Dream Team {Emily Elizabeth Hair and Makeup, Cassidy Diane Artistry, and Justine McCoy Hair and Makeup} collectively has some great dates still open!

What and who exactly is and are the Beauty Dream Team again…? I can hear you thinking this… So I’ll gladly explain this! At the beginning of the 2016 season, I hired and trained some amazing, licensed cosmetologists, and also one brilliant graduate of MUD (a super awesome makeup school in Burbank CA). They learned the Courtney Rossi Artistry way of MUAH, a natural approach to makeup artistry, and specific curling and product layering techniques for hair, and they made client’s beauty dreams come true, one swipe of lipstick, one twist of the curling iron, and one shared laugh at a time. These three vivacious artists are Emily Elizabeth, licensed cosmetologist and hair and makeup artist, Cassidy Crawford, MUD graduate and makeup artist extraordinaire, and Justine McCoy, licensed cosmetologist and hair and makeup artist. They are exceptional individuals, artists, and cohorts… Yes, they are quite the Beauty Dream Team…

What will I be doing in 2017? Well… I’m so glad you asked! I am taking a limited number of weddings myself in SLO county, and I’ll also be sparkling up MUAH clients in the San Pedro-Long Beach-Torrance-Palos Verdes areas! I am also continuing to serve my cut and color client’s in SLO, one week a month! So get at me!
