When thinking about your wedding day makeup, there is always that question-
to falsie or not to falsie?
So, I thought I would give you a little information about the lash application services we offer.

Medium length, thickening lashes
First off we get asked if we do strip lashes, and the answer is no. Long ago, before starting Courtney Rossi Artistry, I determined that strip falsies could not be trusted, after watching friends strip lashes begin to peel at the corners throughout events, once even popping off mid way through a dinner. I felt like they could not be 100% trusted, so when I started CRA I decided to only use the individual cluster lash falsies. If, after we do your makeup, you want to apply your own strip falsies, go ahead! No problem, but we can't apply them for you.

Dramatic accent pop, for a fluttery look

Glamorous, full lashline, butterfly effect
What are cluster lash falsies? They are these darling little clusters of 4 or 5 lashes, and they are glued with a very special glue to your own lash. This does not hurt your lashes, and in an average of 1-4 days, they slowly loosen and slide right off! Or, if you wish to remove them right after your event, grab a q-tip (or two or three) and makeup remover. Close your eye and gently roll the saturated q-tip down your lashes, this will gently loosen the clusters and slide them right off. These are considered a semi-permanent lash application, because with gentle care they can last several days. (I have heard from past clients they have lasted almost a week!)
What can we do with these cute little suckers? We can create all sorts of looks and effects. We work with two different lengths, and we can also trim the lashes to customize the length for a flawless transition from your natural lash to the cluster lash.

Very classic, thicker-fuller-longer, full lashline effect
We offer two lash application options:
We offer an accent lash option, which is an application of the lashes on the outer part of your eye. It is a pop of lashes, that can create multiple effects. We can create a cat eye effect, using all long lashes, and then trimming them to create that un-noticeable, yet dramatic, transition to your own lashes. For just a pop of drama, we can use a couple long lashes next to a couple medium lashes to create a more opening effect.
We also offer a full lashline option, and with this option, we can create many different effects. We can open smaller eyes, and create an “eye lift” effect, by pulling the attention up and out and away from the eye, this look would begin with proper eyeshadow and eyeliner application. We can give a butterfly effect, where we pack the lashline with long dramatic lashes, that still look natural as there is no visible strip at the base; instead they just disappear into your own lash base. We can create a super cat-eye effect using all long on the outer half of the eye, and then transitioning to all medium on the inner half of the eye. We can create a more natural, yet glamorous effect by alternating long and then medium lashes throughout your entire lashline. And of course we can thicken lashes by using the clusters to fill in sparse areas.

Extreme full lashline cat-eye, still natural feeling
