How much fun are engagement photos?! Haven't done yours yet?
Well, let me tell you- they're FUN! They are your first opportunity to get creative, and really share who you and your fiance are as a couple. You'll have these photos for the rest of your life, and with a little effort and time, you can come up with a few “situations” that represent the two of you. Bring a few props to add character and your own individual touch to your photos.

Another key factor in loving your photos is feeling comfortable in your own skin! Pick an outfit (or two if you want to change mid way through) that makes you feel like your favorite version of yourself. Make sure that it photographs well from all angles, and that the prints photograph well. Then, after you've perfected your outfit, figure out a complementary outfit for your fiance. Again, something that makes them look like a 10+ from all angles, and something that photographs well.

For your setting, think of a favorite place or activity that you both enjoy doing together, and plan your shoot There, doing That. Little props are so much fun, and truly make your shoot your own.

Next you'll want to think about your hair and makeup. And that's where we, at Courtney Rossi Artistry, come in. We would love to chat with you about your upcoming shoot, chat about where you're shooting, the feel of your shoot, and the conditions you're shooting in. For instance, if you're shooting at the beach, let's chat about wind and fog proofing your hair and makeup. If you're shooting on a sunny day on top of a mountain, let's chat about long wear, sweat proof makeup and sunscreen!

This year we are excited to announce we are offering a new special on engagement photo hair and makeup! We're offering hair and makeup at an hourly rate! That means that instead of trying to fit hair and makeup into your budget, we can together pick the right hair and makeup for your budget! You can have a beautiful style perfect for your pictures, that will stay flawless through your shoot, and into dinner and drinks! Cheers to that!
We would love to make sure your engagement photo hair and makeup is as perfect as your engagement photos will be. Give me a call, shoot me an email, and lets chat about it!
Sharing Sparkles...
Ciao!
Courtney
